This is a lovely example of an antique moonstone chain

It was made during the first half of the 20th century

It features of row of natural moonstones, simply spectacle-set in solid silver

The moonstones are all different shapes and sizes – some are flat and thin, some are high cabochons

All the stones are clear and unincluded

At least 7 of the stones show the prized Adularesence – the internal blue light

The necklace weighs 9g

It’s 18.5” / 47cm long

The necklace is in very good antique condition

There is no damage or repair

Some of the settings look distorted, but the moonstones are secure so I have decided not to mess with them!

The bolt-ring clasp is marked “sterling”.

The chain has been professionally tested to ensure that it is also silver
