This is a classically beautiful antique ring.
It dates to the first quarter of the 20th century
It’s made from solid 18ct yellow gold with platinum settings
The central stone is a natural sapphire, oval and faceted
It has a good colour; an electric Royal Blue, intense and evenly saturated
The sapphire is surrounded by old cut, natural diamonds
They have a soft grey colour and a beautiful sparkle
The back of the head is beautifully constructed in a floral design, allowing light to pass under and through the stones
It is supported by tapering shoulders
