This is a fantastic antique scent bottle

I have never seen one so sharp and aggressive

The amphora form, with its tapering shape and geometric handles, is referencing archaeological finds from the Mediterranean

The base of the amphora has been exaggerated to an extreme spike, giving fierce, Gothic vibes.

The scent bottle dates to c1900.

It hangs from a fine silver chain

Originally it may have been hung from a chatelaine

It’s up to 1.3cm across

With the handles, it’s up to 2.3cm across

As a pendant, with the chain, it’s 12.8cm long
