The pear-shape tanzanite measures 8mm x 6mm (approx 0.8 – 0.9ctw)
It’s eye clean, with one inclusion visible under x10 magnification.
It is uniformly saturated with an intense sapphire blue colour
Tanzantite is pleocroic – it shows different colours depending on the angle of the light that is passing through the stone.
This stone shows a strong sapphire blue when viewed from the top. Lavender tones are visible from side angles
The diamonds are elongated trapeze-cuts, beautifully matched, white and flawless under x10 magnification
