It’s made from the top of a Victorian stickpin, shanked recently with a solid 9ct gold wire
The horseshoe is made from solid 18ct yellow gold and is set with 11 old-cut, graduated diamonds
They’re held by claws carved from the gold
The diamonds are well matched for colour and brilliance – they’re white and sparkly
The are all irregular, and have high crowns and large culets
The horseshoe is realistically designed, which is why it is slightly asymmetrical – horses have left and right feet too!
