An adorable pair of earring in the shape of flowers
Their petals are rose-cut garnets and their leaves anew pavè set with delightfully irregular split natural pearls
The flowers were originally part of a larger piece of jewellery, sadly damaged beyond repair. It dates to the mid-19th century
Their mirror-image design made them perfect candidates for earrings, which was easily achieved with the addition of solid gold ear-wires
The flowers themselves are mounted in gold and silver
The earrings measure 2.6cm long from the top of the hooks
The flowers measure 2.1cm x 1.3cm
They weigh 1.7g each
They’re in excellent antique condition, other than having been repurposed
All the gems are present and look original
The box is for display only
