A beautiful ring, dating to around 1820-40
Made from solid 15ct yellow gold and set with three natural turquoise cabochons
The turquoise is probably Persian in origin
The ring is in amazing, box-fresh condition
The most fabulous thing about it is the design – the sides of the mount are carved to show swagged drapes beneath each stone, with a tassel between each – which I have never seen before
